Wishing you Joy for 2010

2010 is almost here. I saw a tweet this past week from someone who said they couldn't believe we weren't riding in hover cars yet. So true. Remember being a child and watching the Jetsons and thinking how cool it would be to drive a car that flew.

I plan on having my new website up and running within the next 2 months. I had plans to work on it this past summer, but aspects of life beyond my control made me put it on the back burner for a bit. I'll also be making a few changes with the business that I'm excited about.

Very soon I will be coming up on my 1000th post over on my personal blog Ordinarily Extraordinary and I'm planning some giveaways to celebrate. so keep checking over there. I'm thinking I'll hit my 1000th post about the beginning of February.

Sweet H

I've known this sweet girl since she was a toddler. She was so shy back then. She has grown into such a precious girl. Before her mom blinks she'll be a teenager.

And of course we had to get one with her beautiful mom.

And since there is very, very little pink in my own home I couldn't resist getting some of her in her very girly room.  Her pink beanbag has her name on it, but since I don't share I blurred all but her first letter out. It's one of my favorite photos from the session though.

B & D: Just for Fun

This is one of our sweet teachers at Squirt's school. She and her boyfriend met while students at Auburn where he is still in grad school. I met them down there one afternoon for some just for fun, anytime photos. And of course I saved my very favorite for last.

 

I love his expression in this last one. I think he was actually telling her it was hard to be that close and not kiss her and they both cracked up. It has to be one of my all time favorite photos I've ever taken. And I couldn't decide whether color or black and white. I like them both.

Sweet Baby Girl

This sweet girl's mom contacted me to do a session with her while they were at their family lake home. How can you not enjoy spending time with such a precious girl. 6 months old and she was into so much already. Such a curious girl. She loved picking up the leaves and pinestraw.

Friends

These 4 girls are so fun to be around. They all have different interests, but yet remain the best of friends. I laughed and laughed during this session and they were full of ideas they wanted to try. Here are a few of my favorites.

Fall is in the air and right around the corner is Christmas and the Holidays. I've had a few inquiries about Christmas cards so I thought I'd post a special offer. To take advantage of this offer you need to call me ASAP at 256-750-1692 to book your session. My schedule for October and November is quickly filling up and I have very few dates available. I will not be booking sessions October 16 - October 25 and I am only booking a limited number of sessions per week.
