Okay. Back to catching up.
This sweet young lady is starting her senior year in high school. And seriously she is beautiful inside & out. She has such a sweet and kind personality and spirit. She's also an amazing dancer. I was so excited that she and her parents asked me to take her senior photos.
I'm going to try to get caught up on posting photos from my sessions this summer. Life had been a bit crazy this summer break and I've had to let things fall to the side. Hoping now that school is starting & the sick family members are on the mend I will be able to begin accomplishing my to do list which includes sharing more from summer photo sessions.
This next session was with twins. I've known these girls for several years. They come from such a musically gifted and wonderful family. They are growing up on their mom. They needed formals for their piano recital (did I mention the musically gifted family? -- oh yeah, I did) and their mom wanted some photos of them. The mom and I both loved the idea of the formals against a very natural setting. The only thing that would have made it better was if we could have found and figured out how to get an old piano into that field, but alas....
It was so fun to spend some time with them. I've never been able to tell them apart easily so it was truly amazing to see how different their personalities are.
I had such fun meeting up with this family in Birmingham for their session. Several months ago I was contacted by the Heart Gallery of Alabama asking for a donation for their fundraising auction this past February. This wonderful family won my package. Aren't these two girls precious? The youngest was such a doll and the oldest has such an all-amercian girl beauty.

This is the second time I've photographed this brother and sister. It's nice that they know me and will really be themselves for me and their mom trusts me to capture their little personalities and waits inside for us. Since I know these two it's always fun to get home from their session and edit their photos and see what bits of their personalities I captured. So the past month has been quite busy. For which I am so very, very thankful, but boy have I been a slacker on the blog front. So I'll start with a photo of some sweet kiddos.
